Responsibilities of Seasonal Merchandise Associate:

  • Leaders set the standard for customer experience protocols that benefit interactions with both company employees and external clientele
  • Encourages and exemplifies a beneficial store culture founded on integrity, authenticity, and dignity
  • Utilizes defined operational guidelines to accurately ring up customer purchases and handle returns
  • Emphasizes the benefits of credit and loyalty schemes in customer communications
  • Ensures the maintenance of the merchandising philosophy and follows the prescribed procedures and standards
  • Correctly manages and preps inventory for placement on the sales floor, in line with the standards and procedures set by the company
  • Commences and engages in store recovery as needed during the day
  • Maintains the prescribed organizational, cleanliness, and recovery benchmarks for the sales space and engages in ensuring the overall cleanliness of the store
  • Provides and embraces regular acknowledgment and supportive feedback
  • Adheres to the entirety of labor laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Endorses and joins programs targeted at decreasing shrinkage and meeting reduction goals
  • Is involved in fostering safety consciousness and maintaining a safe environment
  • Undertakes supplementary duties as instructed
