Job Summary of Inventory Merchandise Associate:

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principals and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities of Inventory Merchandise Associate:

  • Visionaries in customer experience management pave the way for improved interactions with both internal and external customers through established practices
  • Bolsters and embodies a constructive store culture with a commitment to sincerity, moral principles, and decorum
  • Counts and processes customer purchases and returns in compliance with operational protocols
  • Recommends integrating credit and loyalty programs into customer discussions
  • Maintains the merchandising philosophy by following the established procedures and standards effectively
  • Efficiently follows company guidelines and standards when processing and setting up merchandise for display and sale
  • Starts and engages in store revival as necessary throughout the day
  • Abides by the organizational, cleanliness, and recovery measures for the sales floor and assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the entire store
  • Emphasizes ongoing acknowledgment and valuable commentary
  • Conforms to the entirety of labor legislations, policies, and operational procedures
  • Engages in and supports store initiatives that aim to reduce shrink and meet goals
  • Participates in efforts to enhance safety awareness and uphold a risk-free environment
  • Carries out additional duties as delegated
