Job Summary of Temporary Merchandise Associate:

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience demonstrated by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer experience principals and philosophy, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store in order to support the needs of the business.

Responsibilities of Temporary Merchandise Associate:

  • Innovators in customer experience exemplify best practices for fostering positive interactions with both internal and external customers
  • Backs and exemplifies a favorable store environment by championing honesty, ethical behavior, and kindness
  • Counts and processes customer purchases and returns in compliance with operational protocols
  • Suggests promoting credit and loyalty programs as part of customer interactions
  • Abides by the merchandising philosophy and adheres to the established procedures and standards in place
  • Properly manages the processing and presentation of merchandise for sale, following the established procedures and guidelines of the company
  • Commences and engages in store recovery as needed during the day
  • Upholds all standards related to organization, cleanliness, and restoration on the sales floor while also playing a role in keeping the entire store neat and tidy
  • Offers and acknowledges continuous appreciation and positive input
  • Fulfills all requirements set forth in labor legislations, guidelines, and protocols
  • Endorses and joins programs targeted at decreasing shrinkage and meeting reduction goals
  • Participates in initiatives that prioritize safety awareness and the upkeep of a risk-free space
  • Engages in other assignments as directed
